WWE has lined up an exciting title contest for the next episode of SmackDown. Recently crowned Intercontinental Champion AJ Styles will defend his title against Drew Gulak.
Styles had earned his first Intercontinental Champions belt last fortnight with a win over Daniel Bryan in a match that went to the wire and lasted longer than average WWE battles.
He has since been on the radar of many WWE super heroes for his post-match reaction for calling out all the Superstars on the SmackDown roster to witness his title presentation.
WWE has taken to confirm the SmackDown duel over the weekend.
Styles has since lost t0 Matt Riddle and then Gulak has challenged him for the title.
Gulak had trounced Styles in their last meeting and he was upbeat about repeating the show in the title bout. It might not be that easy for Gulak though as Style has grown in class and strength ever since.
Even if Styles manages to retain the belt, it won’t be an end of challenges for him. There will be many others warming up for a shot at the Intercontinental Champion’s belt.
