Sourav Ganguly releases video on his successes & failures

BCCI President and former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly released a video on his social media channels on Thursday where he was seen speaking on his failures and successes ahead of his live session on April 3.

“Leaders are forged in the fire of failures. Join me for my Extra Class with Classplus, to know which failures of mine were responsible for my success in life. Live on 3rd April @ 12.30 P.M. Register now (sic)” , Ganguly said in his video to his 2M+ followers on Facebook, urging them to join the session. 100k+ individuals have already shown interest in joining the session.

The first-of-its-kind live session with Sourav is being organised by Classplus, India’s leading platform for educators and coaching centers to go digital, and will be hosted on Classplus’ Youtube channel. Sourav Ganguly is also the brand ambassador and a strategic investor in Classplus. The session, meant for students as well as teachers, will encourage them to draw inspiration from the life of Sourav Ganguly and see failure as a stepping stone to success.

Ganguly will share his story right from his debut in 1992 to the ICC World Cup 2003 and will be taking questions from the audience too. He will talk about how his short-term failures were responsible for shaping his career in the long run including earning him the captainship, numerous victories in international cricket, and finally the presidency of BCCI.

The 48-year-old is arguably one of the best batsman and team captain across formats team India has ever seen. He has shattered numerous records in international cricket and is the recipient of several prestigious awards for his outstanding contributions in the field of sports including Sports Star Person of the Year, Arjuna Award, and Padma Shri 2004.
