Pakistan to tour Sri Lanka for two Tests, three ODIs in July

After successfully hosting Australia for a Test, ODI and T20I series on its home ground, the Pakistan cricket team will now tour Sri Lanka between July-August to play a Test and ODI series against the home team, The News has reported.

As per reports, the tour will comprise two Tests and three ODIs and the respective cricket boards of the Pakistan and Sri Lanka will announce the dates and venues of the series after holding consultations.

Pakistan will extend their visit to Sri Lanka for the T20 Asia Cup.

However, before touring the island nation, the Green Brigade will host West Indies in June for a three-match ODI series.

Earlier this month, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had decided to remove all COVID-19 curbs, including the bio-secure bubble during the West Indies series following the dreastic fall in the infection rate across the nation.

After completing the Sri Lanka tour, Pakistan will be back in its home soil to host England for seven T20I matches.
