No interruption for LIVE cricket on Sony Pictures Sports Network

The three-match Test series between England and the West Indies, first international cricket competition since the COVID-19 outbreak, will be over. But there is no stopping for the LIVE cricket action on Sony Picture Sports Network.

Before the Test series against Pakistan begins on August 5, the England and Wales Cricket Board has squeezed in a three-game One Day International tour from Ireland.

Sony Pictures Sports Network (SPSN), the ECB media rights partner for the Indian subcontinent, is all set to enthral fans with LIVE Sports as exciting cricketing action returns with Ireland tour of England starting July 30, 2020 and Pakistan tour of England starting August 5, 2020.

Fans can catch all the LIVE action from both the series on-air exclusively on SONY SIX channels, SPNS has stated in a Press release.

The cricket fever will be a notch higher among fans as two more exciting series, Ireland tour of England and Pakistan tour of England make their way after a captivating contest between England and West Indies for the Wisden Trophy.

With the perfect combination of youth and experience in the squad, Ireland Team will prove to be a formidable opponent for the English side when they meet in all the 3 ODIs at The Rose Bowl, Southampton from July 30, 2020. The Pakistan tour of England will comprise of 3 Tests and 3 T20Is which will be played across two venues namely The Rose Bowl, Southampton and Emirates Old Trafford, Manchester.

Fans can expect nothing less than adrenaline-charged cricketing action as ICC will officially kick-start the Cricket World Cup Super League with Ireland tour of England.

While Team England will come in with all guns blazing for both the series, Team Ireland will bank on veterans like Kevin O’Brien and William Porterfield for the ODI’s and Team Pakistan will look to lean on the experience of players like Azhar Ali, Babar Azam, Asad Safiq, Fawad Alam and Shoaib Malik to win the series in England.

Fans can watch the 1st ODI between Ireland and England LIVE and Exclusive in India at 6:30 PM on SONY SIX channels from 30th July 2020

Fans can also witness nail biting cricket action as Pakistan Tour of England will be aired LIVE and Exclusive in India. The 1st Test will be aired from 5th August 2020, 3.30 pm onwards, only on SONY SIX channels

  • England vs Ireland: 1st ODI (July 30); 2nd ODI (Aug 1) and 3rd ODI (Aug 4) – all matches on Sony Six and Sony Six HD from 6:30 pm India time.
  • England vs Pakistan (Test Series):  1st Test (Aug 5-9); 2nd Test (Aug 13-17); and 3rd Test (Aug 21-15) – all matches on Sony Six and Sony Six HD from 3:30 pm (on all match days).
  • England vs Pakistan (T20I Series): 1st T20I (Aug 28 from 10:30 pm); 2nd T20I (Aug 30 from 7:00 pm); and 3rd T20I (Sept 1 from 10:20 pm) – all matches on Sony Six and Sony Six HD.
