Lookout notice against Olympian grappler Sushil Kumar

In connection with a brawl at Delhi’s Chhatrasal Stadium, which had resulted in the death of a young wrestler, the Delhi Police on Monday issued a Lookout Notice against Olympic grappler Sushil Kumar.

Sushil, who has been absconding since the night of the brawl, is said to be involved in the incident where two factions of wrestlers allegedly opened fire on each other.

The scuffle had left several injured and a 23-year-old wrestler — Sagar Kumar was dead.

Earlier, an FIR was registered against Sushil, who has claimed that he has nothing to do with the incident. However, the ace wrestler has been reported missing ever since.

“They weren’t our wrestlers, it happened late last night. We have informed police officials that some unknown people jumped into our premises and fought. No connection of our stadium with this incident” Sushil had stated.

As per reports, on the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday, a dispute between the wrestlers occured at the Chhatrasal Stadium and later, even gun shots were fired.
