IPL 2021: Delhi Capitals to depart for the UAE on Saturday

The domestic players and the support staffs of the Delhi Capitals will reportedly leave for the UAE on Saturday for the remainder of the IPL 2021.

The domestic players and the supporting staff of the Delhi-based franchise had assembled in the national capital earlier this week and as per reports, each one of them have tested negative for Covid-19.

The players and supports staffs are currently in quarentine in Delhi. However, they all will be required to serve another week in quarantine after landing in the.

On the other hand, the international players of the franchise will join the team in the UAE after completing their respective international commitments.

Meanwhile, star DC batsman and former skipper Shreyas Iyer is already there in the Gulf.

Earlier this week, Mumbai Indians (MI) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) had landed in the UAE.

The second leg of the cash-rich league, which was postponed in May due to Covid-19, will resume with a blockbluster clash between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings on September 19.
