IPL 2020 LIVE: Dream11 among 13 sponsors on Disney+ Hotstar

Indian Premier League 2020 title sponsor Dream11 has also assured itself a strong brand presence on the league’s LIVE streaming on Disney+ Hotstar. India’s leading fantasy sports platform is among the 13 sponsors for the IPL 2020 LIVE streaming and other curated content on Star India’s OTT platform.

Among the biggest spenders on world cricket, Dream11 will be a co-presenting partner for the IPL digital streaming. The brand has also signed as a co-presenting partner contract with Star Sports for the IPL 2020 LIVE broadcast.

Dream11 parent company Dream Sports had made headlines yesterday (Monday) for its second round funding of $ 225 million, led by Tiger Global Management, TPG Tech Adjacencies, ChrysCapital and Footpath Ventures.

Dream 11 has committed ₹ 400 crores for various sponsorship deals for the IPL 2020, including the league’s title rights.

Boost will be the ‘Powered By’ partner for the IPL streaming on Disney+ Hotstar VIP and Disney+ Hotstar Premium.

The other IPL streaming sponsors include Maruti Suzuki, Khata-Book, Flipkart, HDFC Bank, MX Player and Association of Mutual Funds.

There are also other advertisers like Ayurveda brand Himalaya, Kellogs, Delhi Capitals co-owners the Principal Sponsors JSW, Urban Company, Sleepwell Mattresses, Procter & Gamble, Mastercard, Visa, Intel and Jeep etc.

Since Star India had strategically decided to the IPL streaming access to only paid subscribers, the sponsorship sales target for the digital platform are kept moderate.
