IPL 2020: Harbhajan may not join CSK tour party for departure on Sunday

Seasoned pro Harbhajan Singh might not fly to the UAE with Chennai Super Kings on Sunday. The Turbanator had also missed the Indian Premier League team’s training camp on in Chennai.

Harbhajan will be joining the team in Dubai in the first week of September. He is reportedly not able to leave for the UAE with the rest of the team due to the illness of his mother.

The veteran off-spinner, according to the national daily Times of India, has informed the CSK team management about his concerns.

Chennai Super Kings will be leaving for Dubai on Sunday in quest of their fourth IPL crown.

The Mahendra Singh Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings will meet defending champions Mumbai Indians in the IPL 2020 opener on September 19. The match will be a repeat of last year’s final.

The IPL 2020 will be played in the UAE from September 19 to November 10.

Harbhajan after representing Mumbai Indians for the first ten seasons of the IPL had moved to Chennai Super Kings in 2018. This will be his fourth successive IPL with the Yellow Lions.
