Indian cricketers to enjoy 20-day break in UK before England series

The Indian team has missed a chance to lift the ICC mace after going down to New Zealand by eight wickets in the World Test Championship (WTC) final in Southampton and will now take on hosts England in a five-match Test rubber, starting in August.

However, before the England Test series, the Indian cricketers will enjoy a 20-day break from the field and reportedly, they have fixed their plans to spend the time as per their likes.

While some cricketers, who are tennis fans, would head to watch the Wimbledon, few others are aiming to witness the ongoing Euro 2020 matches, which will be held at London’s Wembley.

The Indian players have already reached London from Southampton.

Meanwhile, most of the players are expected to stay in London or nearby areas to spend some quality time with their families.

Onve the break gets over, the players will gather back in London on July 14 and then leave for Nottingham, where the first Test match against England is scheduled.
