India cricket teams reach Southampton, starts quarentine

The Indian men’s and women’s cricket teams has reached Hampshire Bowl, venue of World Test Championship (WTC) final, and checked into the Hilton Hotel at The Ageas Bowl where they will undergo strict quarantine.

The Virat kohli-led Indian men’s team will play the WTC final against New Zealand at the Ageas Bowl between June 18-22.

New Zealand, who are currently playing the first of two Test series against hosts England at Lord’s, will return to Southampton on June 14.

On the other hand, the Indian women’s team will head to Bristol after serving their quarentine perios where they will play a one-off Test against England.

Earlier on Saturday, the International Cricket Council (ICC) had said that the Indian men’s team would be allowed gradual increase in activity during its period of isolation in Southampton.

The Indian men’s team is likley to start their training after three days.
