Dialog Axiata, one of Sri Lanka’s largest telecommunications service providers, has been named as the title sponsor for the upcoming SLC Invitational T20 League, which will be played from between August 12 and 24 at the Pallekele International Stadium, Kandy.
The upcoming tournament is seen as an opportunity for players to prepare for the upcoming edition of the T20 World Cup, scheduled to be held in the UAE and Oman.
The four team participating in the T20 league are SLC Blues, SLC Grays, SLC Reds and SLC Greens. While Dhananjaya de Silva will lead the Blues, the Grays, Reds and the Greens will be led by Dasun Shanaka, Dinesh Chandimal and Ashan Priyanjan respectively.
Each of the team will play a total of six league matches and the top two sides will enter the final, which will be held on the August 24.
The ‘Dialog – SLC Invitational T20 League’ will be broadcast LIVE on Dialog Television Channel One, Dialog ViU app on Mobile and will also be live streamed on ThePapare.com and ThePapare Cricket Facebook page as well as SLC (Sri Lanka Cricket) YouTube Channel.
