Chetan Sakariya, Mukesh Choudhary to participate in Queensland’s KFC T20 Max series

Promising Indian fast bowlers Chetan Sakariya and Mukesh Choudhary will participate in the KFC T20 Max tournament.

Choudhary, 26, who represented Chennai Super Kings in the 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), was signed by Wynnum-Manly while Sakariya, 24, who played for Delhi Capitals this year, joined Sunshine Coast.
The official Twitter handle of Queensland Cricket has announced the inclusion of the two pacers via a Twitter post on Friday afternoon.

As per reports, left-arm pacers Sakariya and Choudhary will spend time in Brisbane next month as part of an exchange with the renowned MRF Pace Academy. Player and coaching exchanges between the MRF Pace Foundation and Cricket Australia have been in place for more than 20 years, with the two Indian players marking the resumption of the relationship that was paused due to COVID.

Apart from playing in the KFC T20 Max competition, the Indian duo will train at the Bupa National Cricket Centre and join in with the Queensland Bulls pre-season preparations.

Sakariya has represented India in one ODI and two T20I matches as well, apart from making his name while playing for Rajasthan Royals and Delhi Capitals in the IPL.
