India bagged it’s first-ever gold in athletics in Olympics when Neeraj Chopra clinched the yellow metal in the javelin throw compitition of the just concluded Tokyo Olympics.
With a total of 7 medals, Team India gave it’s best-ever Olympics performance at the Tokyo 2020 event.
