Baseline Ventures inks deal to represent Priyam Garg

Sports marketing firm Baseline-Ventures has added another colt to its pool of talent with the signing of India Under-19 captain Priyam Garg. The company had in March also signed Indian women cricket team’s teen sensation Shafali Verma.

Baseline Ventures has inked a multi-year deal to manage commercial interests of the rising cricket star Garg, who had led the Indian Colts to the ICC Under-19 World Cup final in South Africa. The company will exclusively represent him for all commercial deals.

Garg joins his Under-19 teammates Divyaansh Saxena, Yashasvi Jaiswal and wicketkeeper Dhruv Jurel in the Baseline Ventures camp.

“I am excited to be represented by Baseline. They have helped build the careers of many young talents by guiding them in the right direction. I look forward to a great partnership with them,” Garg said.

Garg averages 66.69 in 16 first class innings for Uttar Pradesh, scoring 867 runs including the highest single score of 206. He has also scored 707 in 18 List A limited overs innings. He has also got an impressive ₹ 1.9 crore Indian Premier League deal from Sunrisers-Hyderabad.

The Baseline Ventures talent pool also includes Indian sports icons like PV Sindhu, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Smriti Mandhana, Prithvi Shaw, Pankaj Advani, Apurvi Chandela, Saurav Ghosal and Joshna Chinappa among various other elite athletes.
