Australia expected to tour B’desh for T20I series in August

Cricket Australia (CA) is looking ahead for a five-match T20I rubber against Bangladesh in August this year to prepare for the T20 World Cup, scheduled to be held in India.

The Australia tour of Bangladesh will follow Australia’s white-ball tour of the West Indies in July.

Earlier, CA had initially planned for a three-match series however, as per reports, they are now looking ahead for an additional two games in the tour, dates and venues of which are yet to be announced.

Significantly, Australia were scheduled to tour Bangladesh for two tests in 2020 hwoever, it was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
