SonyLIV signs over 50 advertisers for India’s tour of SL

SonyLIV, an Indian over-the-top Freemium streaming platform owned by Sony Pictures Networks India, has reportedly roped in more than 50 advertisers for the ongoing India’s tour of Sri Lanka.

The advertisers include some big names like Apple, HUL, Amazon, JSW, TVS, Tata Motors, Amul, Dafanews, CoinDCX, Mobikwik, Cars24, Medibuddy, Bridgestone, Acko General Insurance and others.

Meanwhile, the OTT platform has also signed sponsorship deals with some famous brands like Vimal, Betway, WazirX, and Swiggy.

Significantly, Sony is the official broadcaster of the ongoing white-ball series between the Men In Blue and the island nation. The tour will feature three ODIs and as many T20Is with the Shikhar Dhawan-led side already taking a 1-0 lead in the 50-over format.

Apart from cricket, Sony is all set to broadcast the much-awaited Tokyo Olympics, which was postponed by a year due to the global pandemic, from July 23.
