The remainder of the sixth season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) is just 48 hours away from resuming however, five players are reportedly still waiting for their visas to the UAE.

The cricketers who have yet to get visas are Umar Amin, Imran Randhawa, Asif Afridi, Hammad Azam and Khalid Usman. While the first three of them are in Pakistan, the remaining couple of them are in England.

As per reports, Hammad and Khalid have terminated their club contracts in England to feature in PSL 6 remainder.

Significantly, the PCB has faced a lot of criticism over the delay in the start of the tournament as earlier, the tournament remainder was supposed to begin on June 1 however, due to visa issues and logistical challenges, the board was forced to push the dates ahead.

Notably, the sixth edition was indefinately suspended in March due to the emergence of multiple Covid-19 positive cases inside the tournament’s bio-bubble in Pakistan.
